I cant imagine, i m suppose to be leaving this week… and AGAIN i have to face issues like… invitation letter from China is STILL on the way, CMPB’s low productivity plus miscommunication among staff(elaboration later), back pain (and i really mean PAIN) without a cause, an additional pair leather shoes that i have to squeeze in my 200% filled luggage (nonetheless, its a gift from my father, rarely!), and many more issuesssssssss that is causing my headache.
Mum I missed you! so as my nephew and niece! I was sitting in the toilet(you know what i m doing) looking at videos of my niece. OMG, its like none other than my niece, so exceptionally cute though was uglized by the hair chip that i put on her when she is aggressively moving her entire body.
okie, back to my problems. Firstly, it Tuesday today and Sue Tan told me to take note when the invitation letter is reaching Singapore… on monday… and today is TUESDAY?! Like WTH, i really really cant stand all the lates and inefficiency of whoever direct/indirectly effect my Fucking Visa application! Which means if i didn get my invitational letter tomorrow, i might have problem getting to Beijing on FRIDAY… Which is suppose to be the latest targeted leaving date. So, I put in the effort to contact those people who should/might be involved. I called the agent first, and to my surprise, this person that i owed her 760 rmb is working like a staff character from the movie (在政府部门的日子). The previous time i called her, she said, “the application of invitational letter from govt will cost 760rmb and takes 5 working days to process, while we take another 3 days to do up the application before we sent over the govt body. That doesn’t include the duration to courier over to Singapore” Well said, you find this phrases very familiar? Watch the movie again to refresh! Today, she says, “The invitational letter is completed on Friday and have already sent to the hotel, please contact the hotel as they are the ones sending it over to you. Its NONE OF MY BUSINESS” okie, I had enough with her. I felt like not handing her to money! But the hotel has paid for us and is going to cut first month pay for that! So, I contacting Tracy for more info, and she say, “my colleague who has sent the package for courier is OFF today, let me contact her tomorrow.” Plus “the courier duration is 4 days.” After counting, i was like.. WTH, (thinking)weekends not counted? not even saturday?! (i said) which courier company is that? (she says) “i don know, sorry. i will ask my colleague tomorrow” okie at least i know i should get it tomorrow and not today(tuesday). Thats about it!
Second issue, chenghui(my future room mate) called, and told me, “I called CMPB today, and i was told to register online for the medical screening date now and the officer is going to change my screening date to this week before we leave. Hui Yuan(another guy going to BJ in other company) has the same info as well.” Okie, a little background of the problem. I’ve have called CMPB weeks before, and they told me to register a tentative date first, and since i will not be in Singapore they will help me reschedule to AFTER my attachment, and, I kinda thought the issue was settled. So, I called CMPB again and this not-very-polite guy answered with the typical i-am-working-for-the-govt tone, saying the exact same thing that i have received the previous call. So, i reconfirmed with him and told him what Chenghui and Huiyuan has been told to do. And he replied with the you-doubt-me and fuck-off kinda tone, saying, “You listen to me again! Register online….” and he repeated the same thing without answering my Qn. So, I politely thank him for his ‘help’ and call Chenghui again. Problem NOT SETTLED!
Backpain, for no reason, isn’t a very good situation for me. One, i m like going overseas for 6 months and i wanna go there perfectly alright. I am going to a place that i m not used to, so its not a fooling around matter. Two, I am passionate with a sport that is so FFS(ask vincent) need to use my back and waist power. And its not a good sign if i m facing this pain at the age of 20! Three, I am a MAN, I wanna get things done in the future. Man should not get this pain. Or else it will imply a lesser probability of getting ‘things’ done! (think deeper) SIGH~
I am so glad that my father bought me a pair of leather shoes. Though its from Bata, I am still very happy about it. Now i have to think of ways to put in my luggage that is already full. Very troubled now.
Okie. Overall, I am very very very trouble.
Luckily, I went for SHOPPING yesterday, MYSELF. And it was GREAT! Seriously, I took my own sweet time deciding and doing whatever. I put on a new look on my laptop, with a laptop skin. I bought the currently-slimmest-camera in the world which is SONY T77(BRONZE). OMG is my perfect gift from myself. Bought a pair of ah pek shoe to wear to china. Bought a VoIP headset with mic that look very awesome, I tried and it works well too! I think thats all! Oh yah, I was at Bugis, Sim Lim Square. So all the stuff i bought was a great deal!
This is the camera a bought! As you can see in the picture(from SONY Webby), the color of the camera is metallic brown and the other parts are either black or sliver(metal). But for whatever reason, mine is in GOLD in all the silver portion! OMG, Its PERFECT! I love the Combination of Bronze and Gold. Its so nice and elegant. And makes me feels truly rich, though i m not. Wahahaha… okie thats the point. The point is I love that Gold. I have to mention, it not the Uncle kinda hot bright gold. Its that very mild and lightly colored gold. Truly superb and i m indulging the experience even just by looking at it!
Now, by looking at all my successes of Shopping… I am feeling good. =) Despite the problems i’ve got. I am still very happy.
Anyway, I have already created a new blog(on blogspot) to record my experience in Beijing! Cos in China WordPress cannot be accessed. And i m going to launch it on the day I FLY. So, stay tuned!
